One of the Rimon founding five, Ilan Mochiach is a composer, arranger, multi-reeds and vibes player. He holds a Bachelor of Music degree from the Mannes College of Music in New York and an M.A. from N.Y.U.
Mochiach is a frequent guest conductor with the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra and the Queens Symphony Orchestra. He has arranged for such popular performers as Dee Dee Bridgewater, Noa and Yudit Ravitz. He teaches orchestration, arranging, harmony, counterpoint, history of jazz and the fundamentals of sound.
